Prepare as much as possible before having your first meeting with us. This will help you feel more secure and make our meeting more effective so your journey on the road back to work goes more quickly. Here are some tips for how to plan for your meeting.

CV, grades, certificates

Review and update your CV. Collect together your grades, certificates and other documents that prove your experience. Also locate any doctor’s certificates that may be relevant, for example if you have a disability that limits your possibilities to look for work or carry out certain tasks.

At your first meeting with us, you and an employment officer among other things look at:

  • your skills
  • what kind of job you are looking for
  • what the labour market looks like
  • what support you can get from us
  • what to do to achieve your goals.
